Can I play the Game?
Currently, a Beta version of the game is available to the public. You can find it here!
When does the full game come out?
I do not have a set date. I am spending 2026 primarily trying to get more people to play it so I can make improvements, while working on a final release. Ideally, we will release sometime in 2027.
Will the game cost money?
I do not intend to sell the base rules for any amount of money. When we do have a full release, it will be free, likely with the option to pay some amount of money if you would like. Post release, I will likely work to create several pieces of supplimentary material featuring additional example monsters, towns, equipment, archetypes, etc. Support materials like these will likely be sold for a small amount of money.
Can I send you money anyway?
No. I am not currently in any dire financial straits, nor do I care to make a profit off of this. Telling your friends about the game is a much better way to support me than any amount of cash will be.
Do I need to join the Discord?
No. This website will always have the up to date version of the game, and will include any major pieces of news that are relevant to players of the game. The discord's primary purpose is to connect with other players of the game and to have a place where I can be directly answering minor questions. In the future, we will also have other places where questions can be submitted.
Can I help with development?
I am not currently looking for help with design work. The main thing I am looking for is testing. If you want to help with the game's development, the most helpful thing you can do is run a game and tell me what works and what doesn't. I'm only one person, so I can only do so much of that myself.
In the future, I may need help with specialized areas of development such as art, editing, and other things which I might want contractors for. This will be announced both here and on the Discord, so keep an eye out.
May I stream/review/post about the system online?
Absolutely! My only requests are that you link back to this website in some way, and that you are clear that this is an in-development ruleset. For example, title a review of the game something like "Telluric Chronicler Beta Review" or any other title that makes it clear you aren't talking about the final result.
How can I contact you?
You may contact me through my work email, TheDelphicDesign@gmail.com. I am also present in the official Discord, and will to respond to requests there.
